Founded in 2021, Non Conformist Records is an Independent record label based in the depths of lusaka, Zambia. formed to be a meeting place, a safe haven for the experimentalists whose practices deviate from the mainstream currents of creation. Influenced by other ground breaking record labels such as Iapetus Records, IOT, Ninja Tune and Brainfeeder, Non Conformist Records seeks to be a platform and a beacon of light for unsuppressed experimental, diverse and groundbreaking creativity for Zambian artists. In the relatively short period since it's inception, Non Conformist Records has become the Home of the interstellar exploits of Abstract hip-hop producer and rapper Abstract Sekai, whose fusions of trip-hop, downtempo and electronic with abstract lyricism are a breath of fresh air.
